These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Remote Bun’s website (the “Site”), which aggregates remote job postings by scraping third-party sites and using AI to extract and normalize job data. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Definitions

  • User: Any individual who browses, searches, applies for jobs, or otherwise uses the Site.
  • Company: Any entity that posts a job on the Site via our job-posting form.
  • Site Content: All job listings, data, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated summaries or classifications of scraped job postings.
  • Scraped Data: Job listings collected from third-party websites via automated scraping.
  • AI Extraction: The process by which machine-learning models parse and structure Scraped Data into standardized job listings.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Site, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into binding contracts. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Remote Bun.

3. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

4. Access and Use of the Site

  1. License

    • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal or professional purposes.

  2. Prohibited Conduct

    • You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or otherwise use Site Content except as expressly permitted.
    • You may not interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation or security.

5. Scraping and AI-Generated Data

  1. Third-Party Sources

    • We scrape job postings from publicly accessible websites. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness of any third-party data.

  2. AI Accuracy

    • AI Extraction may produce errors or omissions. Use of AI-generated summaries or categorizations is at your own risk.

6. Company Job Postings

  1. Eligibility

    • Companies must be duly organized and authorized to post job listings.

  2. Submission Requirements

    • All job postings must be truthful, complete, and comply with applicable laws (e.g., non-discrimination, labor standards).

  3. Review and Approval

    • We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any Company posting at our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. Ownership

    • All Site Content (including AI-generated content) is our property or licensed to us.

  2. Trademarks

    • “Remote Bun” and our logos are trademarks of Remote Bun. You may not use them without our express permission.

8. Disclaimers

  1. No Warranty

    • The Site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

  2. Job Accuracy

    • We do not guarantee that any job listed on the Site is current, accurate, or available.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remote Bun and our affiliates, officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Remote Bun and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice. Sections 6–11 survive termination.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.
