At Go1, we’re on a mission to enable companies to achieve the impossible by maximizing the potential of their people. From a small startup to the world’s largest aggregator of learning content, we’ve grown by solving hard problems, embracing ambiguity, and never standing still.
If you thrive on change, get energy from big, complex challenges, and are excited to grow fast alongside smart, ambitious people, then Go1 might be exactly what you’re looking for. We offer autonomy with accountability, space to experiment, and the opportunity to shape solutions that impact millions of learners worldwide. We don’t have all the answers — and that’s the point. We figure it out together. Every line of code, every conversation, every bold idea helps move us closer to our mission: to enable individuals, organizations, and society to progress. There’s still so much to build — and even more to discover. Go there with us...
As the Senior Product Designer for Core Experience, you will design the tools and workflows that are the cornerstone of Go1 Learn - our learning platform for admins, managers, and learners alike. You'll work with your product trio and multiple squads to complete a platform migration while building new experiences that make learning management effortless for organisations worldwide.
Why you'll love this role:
- You'll work in an established tech company with resources and stability, but with the pace and autonomy to drive real change and shape the future of workplace learning.
- You'll lead end-to-end design initiatives from discovery to delivery, partnering closely with your Product Manager, Engineers, and fellow Designers.
- You'll be part of a tight-knit design team of 8 with weekly catchups and collaborative rituals for support, inspiration and craft development.
What you'll be doing:
- Design with purpose: Take ownership of significant product areas, creating thoughtful experiences based on deep customer insight that directly impact retention and growth.
- Influence through design: Shape stakeholder decisions and product direction through compelling design storytelling that connects user needs to business outcomes.
- Research lean and fast: Run just enough research to move past assumptions quickly and with confidence - you'll conduct your own usability tests and user interviews to inform design decisions, with the support of a UX research lead for foundational research.
- Collaborate openly: Work with cross-functional teams from discovery to delivery, sharing early ideas and feedback - because better ideas come from working together.
- Think holistically: Design seamless, connected experiences across Go1's platform ecosystem, considering how features work in our own standalone experience and embedded in our partners' environments.
- Be proactive and self-directed: Take ownership of UX strategy and design - from stakeholder alignment to anticipating what's needed to meet roadmap plan, taking initiative to make things happen.
- Elevate design quality: Contribute to design system evolution while mentoring junior designers and setting quality standards across the organisation.
What you'll bring:
- Scale-up expertise: 6+ years in high-growth companies.
- Pragmatic problem solver: You prioritise shipping and learning over design perfection—especially when working toward migration goals and tight deadlines.
- B2B SaaS experience: Deep understanding of complex enterprise workflows, multi-user permissions, and designing for both standalone and embedded platform experiences.
- Research and collaboration skills: Confidence running your own projects from concept to launch, with experience setting up usability testing, integrating insights into your design process, and facilitating collaborative workshops.
- Tool proficiency: Expert in Figma and Miro, with bonus points for experience with research tools like Maze and behavioural insights tools like FullStory.
- AI-forward designer: You've integrated AI tools into your workflow as accelerators for both discovery and delivery work.
- Strong communicator: You can clearly explain design decisions and bring others on the journey, thriving in a remote-first, async culture.
- Business-minded: You understand how design decisions impact business outcomes and can make strategic trade-offs that drive both user satisfaction and company growth.
Our product principles guide Us:
- Move Fast, Learn Faster: Momentum matters - ship fast, stay curious, and keep it simple.
- Solve Customer Problems, Create Lasting Value: We build products that solve real customer problems, and we care about the impact we make.
- Open by Design: We design openly, sharing early and often, inviting diverse input across functions - because transparency and collaboration lead to better outcomes.
- Connected Experiences: Design with awareness of the whole product and ecosystem, not just your slice.
- Delivered Isn’t Done: Launch is just the beginning. We measure success by adoption, impact, and continuous improvement.
