Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Medical Document Manager to join our team. This role is essential for overseeing the management of patient documents, coordinating communication with healthcare providers and hospitals, and ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of medical records and documents. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Strategic Purpose

● Support families in scheduling visits throughout their journey to Care Delivery

● Coordinate scheduling and process related requirements

● Establish a meaningful relationship with parents as a support member of staff

● Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide an excellent AbbyCare

experience

Communication with Providers and Hospitals:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with healthcare providers, hospitals, and medical facilities regarding document requests and coordination.
• Make outbound calls and emails to healthcare providers and hospitals to request medical records, diagnostic reports, imaging studies, and other relevant documents.
• Follow up with providers and hospitals to ensure timely receipt of requested documents and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, medical records management, or a related field preferred.
• At least 1+ years of experience with administrative or operations roles such as, but not exclusive; to:; ○ Care Delivery Administrator; ○ Operations Specialist; ○ Care Coordinator
• ● Excitement to work with an interdisciplinary team and contribute to process development.; ● 100% commitment. This role is not fit for anyone with a side hustle or looking for part-time; opportunities.; ● Bonus if you speak Spanish.
• Willing to work during 9AM - 5PM US EST

• Flexibility; ○ You get energy when tasks and responsibilities are not always the same or stagnant.; This is not a typical 9-5 and there are days when you are helping in different areas and discipline
• Technology enthusiast; ○ You’re tech-savvy and can navigate different applications and technologies when; needed.
• Experience with Salesforce, Google drive
