About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our data team and help drive the insights behind Brightfield’s TDX platform. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with workforce data to uncover trends, solve problems, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to our customers.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team focused on turning complex data into strategic business value. We’re looking for someone who brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a clear, thoughtful communication style. You should be comfortable working across tools like SQL, Excel, and Python (or R), and able to move easily between technical deep dives and customer-facing conversations.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform data manipulation, querying, and in-depth analysis to uncover trends and insights that address customer challenges. Create and refine data visualizations to present findings clearly.
  • Work closely with a portfolio of customers to understand their business needs and provide data-driven recommendations. Leading customer calls, presenting complex findings in a clear and actionable format.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Customer Success and Product, to identify and implement data-driven improvements. Share methodologies and insights within the team to foster a collaborative learning environment.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness across datasets, adhering to established quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects, adjusting to shifting priorities as needed. Senior Analysts may additionally own technical areas such as ETL processes and conduct second reviews of client deliverables to maintain quality.
  • Identify and automate manual processes to enhance data handling efficiency, improving both team productivity and data reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and tools in data analysis, sharing knowledge through internal training sessions and open office hours.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience, with advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Proven ability to explain data and insights to non-technical audiences. Senior Analysts are expected to lead client communications and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL is required; experience in Python or R is preferred. Senior Analysts should have advanced skills in data wrangling and data visualization.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, adapting to fast-paced changes, and meeting deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to seeking and applying feedback
