As part of Confluent’s mission to set data in motion, the Apache Flink® product management team owns both our fully-managed service for Apache Flink in the cloud as well as our self-managed stream processing offering, Confluent Platform for Apache Flink. We are on a mission to deliver a cloud-native & complete stream processing solution to our customers everywhere. We enable our customers to derive valuable insights and take immediate actions from their data in motion.
We are looking for an accomplished Staff Product Manager to drive the success of the Confluent Platform for Apache Flink product, who will define a strategic roadmap for this area, maintain a tight feedback loop with our customers and field organization, and work closely with our engineering teams.
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a software product manager, ideally for a developer or operator-centric product, and 6+ years of experience in overall technical roles.
Proven track record building and managing enterprise-grade software—ideally in distributed data systems, streaming, or large-scale infrastructure—as an engineer, product manager, or solutions architect.
Demonstrated experience defining product specifications and user experiences across interfaces (API, CLI, GUI).
Excellent written communication skills; strong ability to collaborate and lead initiatives across distributed, remote teams.
Deep technical understanding of stream processing systems, public/private/hybrid cloud infrastructure, security, and data governance.
