We’re seeking a Sales Engineer to join our growing team and play a critical role in the pre-sales process across our three healthcare SaaS business units. This individual will act as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle — helping articulate product capabilities, guide solution design, and ensure seamless handoffs to our implementation and client success teams.

You are a solutions-oriented communicator with a strong grasp of SaaS technology and healthcare operations. You bring a consultative approach to sales engagements, are adept at translating requirements into solutions, and excel in both customer-facing and technical environments.

What you'll do

Customer Discovery & Solution Design

  • Lead Business/Workflow Process Assessments (BPAs) with prospective clients to uncover workflow gaps and opportunities
  • Develop tailored solution presentations and product demos that speak to the clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
  • Translate complex requirements into scalable, implementable system configurations

Pre-Sales & Implementation Collaboration

  • Partner with Account Executives to provide technical consultation during the sales cycle
  • Own the technical handoff from Sales to Implementation, ensuring complete and accurate knowledge transfer
  • Support Implementation Managers during configuration, testing, and go-live

Technical Expertise & Customer Enablement

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for integrations, system capabilities, and data flows
  • Consult on EMR/EHR integration options, API workflows, and custom configurations
  • Document customer-specific requirements and provide input to internal knowledge bases and enablement tools

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Product to share market feedback and feature gaps
  • Provide insights to Customer Success and Support for long-term customer outcomes
  • Align with Marketing to support technical content development as needed

About you

  • 3+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Implementation Consultant role within a SaaS environment
  • Experience with healthcare technology, medical practice operations, or surgical workflow solutions
  • Strong technical fluency; ability to articulate platform capabilities and integration mechanics
  • Familiarity with APIs, HL7/FHIR, and EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across clinical, operational, and technical audiences
  • Proven ability to support multiple products, teams, and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience developing scalable documentation and pre-sales assets is a plus
  • Collaborative and proactive team player with a customer-first mindset
