As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on the DAO team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable systems that deliver a first-class experience for both Credit Union members and staff — ultimately driving the growth in newly opened accounts.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Product and Design teams, as well as collaborate with external partners, giving you the chance to strengthen skills beyond engineering, such as communication, product thinking, and negotiation.
Credit Unions (CUs) strive to offer their members loans with competitive interest rates. To make this possible, the greater the members’ investment in the CUs, the more favorable the rates become. That’s why Digital Account Opening (DAO) plays such a critical role at Clutch — it enables customers to seamlessly open new accounts (e.g., Savings, Checking) and start investing their money, strengthening the overall financial ecosystem.
